What We're Looking For

We are looking for a part-time, customer-oriented individual to join our downtown Colorado Springs team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product selection, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining store cleanliness, restocking merchandise, and processing transactions accurately.

What You'll Do

  • Greet customers and assist with their shopping needs.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the products available in the store and effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers.
  • Assist customers in finding the right products, offering suggestions, and providing information on pricing, promotions, and special offers.
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
  • Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, aiming to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and unpacking merchandise, labeling products, and monitoring stock levels.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding loss prevention, security, and safety measures.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
  • Availability to work between 10-20 hours per week.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Knowledge of retail sales principles and practices.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move moderately heavy items.
  • Familiarity with operating cash registers, point-of-sale systems, and basic computer skills.
