Hang in there!

Hello Friends,

What a wild ride this last week has been! How are you and yours holding up? (healthy & happy, I hope) I would imagine you are feeling the same concerns over the coronavirus outbreak as we are. You may be wondering what 'The Soap Market' is doing to combat the outbreak and I'm happy to fill you in. Social separation and cleanliness are the two main players in containing and eliminating the coronavirus. So, I'll start there.

Our AMAZING Ladies - Downtown Colorado Springs

We’ve always taken pride in the sterilization procedures of both our downtown storefront and our factory and we’ve stepped up our game even more in those areas. Our storefront is now disinfected continually throughout the day, staff are wearing gloves and giving guests plenty of space (ie love from 6 feet!). Many of the ways we serve our guests have been tweaked to provide the safest shopping experience as possible.

NEW! CURBSIDE SERVICE

For our LOCAL friends: One change in particular is our new CURBSIDE SERVICE. Order your products online and choose ‘store pickup’. You’ll be notified when your order is ready to go, then simply swing on in, it’s quick and easy! If your wanting to keep the car running, give us a call when you are out front and we will run your purchase out to you. ( Kind of Glamorous, right?) Of course, if you want to enjoy our awesome staff and store experience, we’re open, we’re prepared, and we’d love to see you!

For our NOT SO LOCAL friends: We’ve got $5 flat shipping going on starting today. No matter what your purchase amount, size of box, or where you live, we want to help relieve the ‘cost of being clean’ for you a bit. You'll always get that free soap sample too!

BAR SOAP vs HAND SANITIZER

A Soapy Perspective: Well, it’s pretty obvious we’ve got ‘The Goods’. Hand sanitizer (if you can find it…if you can afford it! ) is great for on the go, and does kill germs and viruses. However, the CDC urges the use of soap and water FIRST and FOREMOST.

The CDC’s website states:

“Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds … If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.”

We get the convenience of hand sanitizer, but truth be told, good old-fashioned soap and water should be your go to whenever possible!

We wish you nothing but health and comfort during these next several weeks. May random acts of kindness fill your world. May every fear be replaced with faith. May you have the cleanest hands on the block.

Thank you for continuing to shop local and supporting us through this difficult time, it means the world to us and our staff! See you soon.

Hugs & Blessings,

Jennifer
