Bath bombs are the bomb.com (pun intended) and are especially popular nowadays. But what makes this well-known bath time accouterment tick... uh... fizz? Well, chemical reactions of course! Let's take a look at what really happens when sudsy bomb meets bath.
The main ingredients needed for a successful bath bomb are Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda) and Citric Acid. Why? When those are combined... nothing happens. But when you submerge them together in water, it creates a chemical reaction that causes a carbon dioxide fizz.
Once these two are combined, a small amount of liquid is added to make the bath bombs moldable (not water; that would cause the previously mentioned reaction). Our bath bombs use Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil and Shea Butter, which leaves a nice, silky feeling on the skin!
From there, fragrance and color is added to make the pretty little things you know and love!
Stop by and see us, we have tons of bath bomb flavors - some of them brand new! And some of them on sale... ;-)
Thankful for you,
